Who We Are
Beaver State Woodturners  (BSWT) is a local woodturning chapter of the American Association of Woodturners whose purpose is to promote the craft of woodturning. Our members come from Springfield, Eugene and surrounding areas of Lane County and beyond. We are all-volunteer, self-funding, and registered with the IRS as a non-profit 501(c)(3). A monthly newsletter is sent to all members. We welcome all levels from beginner to advanced and there is always someone willing to help.

Meetings
Monthly meetings include a demonstration of different woodturning techniques and a sharing of completed projects, various woodturning ideas, and a wood raffle. There is a weekly Zoom "Coffee Break" each Saturday morning where we discuss wood, woodturning and anything the attendees decide. Our monthly meetings are held at Coburg Community Charter School cafeteria the fourth Thursday of each month (the third Thursday if there is a holiday) from 6 to 8 PM.  The address is 91274 N Coburg Rd, Coburg, OR 97408. Community Activities
BSWT also participates and promotes community activities such as Coburg Charter School “Skills Days” and their annual fundraising auction, Madison Middle School student mentoring, “Pens for the Troops”, and “Empty Bowls” for Food for Lane County.
